Central or side connection?
Which connection you need depends on where your heating pipes run. If these have not yet been laid, we recommend a central connection. This is usually less conspicuous and more attractive. You also have a free choice here with our Sahara models. There are Sahara models with a side connection as well as models with a central connection.

It all depends on the shape: Straight or curved?
Our Sahara models are available in straight and curved versions. The advantages of the curved shape are that the towels are easier to throw over the towel radiator, the curved shape means that the heating surface is larger and you have a greater heat output. However, it should be noted that the distance to the wall is somewhat greater with the curved shape and therefore takes up more space. In addition, production is much more complex, which has an impact on the price.

Our Sahara radiators can be divided into two operating modes:
On the one hand, we have electric operation. In this case, a heating element is inserted into one of the connections, which in turn must be connected to a socket. Depending on the model, our Sahara heaters are already equipped with a heating rod. This means you can also connect them to the hot water connection of your heating system as normal. This mixed operation characterizes modern towel radiators.

The advantage of electric operation:
If your heating system is switched off in summer, you can still have dry and warm towels with the help of electric operation. Install the heating element in a few simple steps, plug it into the socket and you're done. The sticking point of electric operation is the electricity costs incurred by the heating element.
