Our HSS countersink set according to DIN 335 is suitable for countersinking and deburring. The countersinks are universally applicable as a set. These articles have a point angle of 90° and have three cutting edges. These cutting edges are axially and radially relief-ground. These cutting edges have rake and clearance angles for machining the most commonly used materials. The flutes are straight and the DIN shank is cylindrical. The article is DIN-certified. Please note, due to the large countersinking range, sufficient coolant supply must be ensured for uncoated versions.

Tips:
1.for countersunk screws, use a countersink assigned to the thread size and sink 0.5-1.0 mm deeper - measured on the outer diameter of the countersink - thus your countersunk screw is completely countersunk
2.regrinding: the countersink should only be regrinded on the rake face. It is often sufficient to regrind the chip surface with an oil stone.
